My love for psychiatry began gradually during my nursing school years. Common social misconceptions, misinformation, and stereotyping lead society to alienate and misjudge anyone who does not conform to the so-called norm of behavior or thinking. Hurtful thinking is particularly damaging to children and adolescents. The younger generation is especially vulnerable due to lacking role models for positive behavior in their daily environments.
I am passionate about the fundamental changes that must occur. I am committed to teaching, explaining, and offering support to everyone who shares the same vision and dedication to improving the lives of children and teenagers in New York City.
