My love for psychiatry began gradually during my nursing school years. Common social misconceptions, misinformation, and stereotyping lead society to alienate and misjudge anyone who does not conform to the so-called norm of behavior or thinking. Hurtful thinking is particularly damaging to children and adolescents. The younger generation is especially vulnerable due to a lack of role models for positive behavior in their daily environments.
I am passionate about the fundamental changes that must occur. I am committed to teaching, explaining, and offering support to everyone who shares the same vision and dedication to improving the lives of children and teenagers in New York City.
